Grab Bag!

I am also working on a track with Brian Grainger for one of his upcoming releases. I'll be splattering a noise solo all over some downtuned sludge that he sent my way. Next album is nearly done and I've begun recording and writing for the one after that. I can't say anything else beyond that about either of them except that they are even better than everything else so far (or at least from their creator's perspective so you can take that for what it's worth).

Quietly, I have been hashing out the details of the next Millipede full-length. No title yet, but here is a full list of songs that have been recorded that may or may not be included on it:

Tracking has been a very tumultuous affair....one day things go unexplicably well, then another I write and record for five or six hours and scrap every note. So far the finished pieces are (I believe) the best things I've done. The trees around my new house are beautiful this time of year with their white and pink blossoms and have been an obsessive bit of inspiration to me. I may post pictures as I've taken tons of them. I've been going through old photos and playing Mario Kart Wii and Resident Evil 5. That is all for now.

Major Announcements!

Major Announcements

The Install label, based out of New York, and home to artists such as Brian Grainger, David Tagg, Ourson, and The Caretaker will be releasing Death Mountain as a limited edition CD-R as part of their Installation series. It won't be out until next year sometime but I should have more info on that as it becomes available to me. If you want to see what it might look like you can head on over to www.installsound.net and check out other entries in the series. I couldn't be happier than to be working with some very nice people who believe in what I'm doing.

As if that weren't enough ridiculously awesome news for one day, Brian Grainger and I will be doing a split cassette based on ideas taken from each of us regarding The Legend of Zelda. Not for sure on what the title will be exactly just yet but the text may be all in Hylian!
